Listing Appeal Pack · Guide
My Google Business Profile appeal was rejected. What can I do next?
Google accepts one appeal per decision, but after a denial it says it may be able to do an additional review, where you can add evidence you did not send the first time. Before you ask for one, find what still does not match the guidelines, fix it on the profile and website, and gather documents that show the business name and address exactly as on the profile.
How to rebuild your case
- Read the decision in the appeals tool. The Business Profile appeals tool shows the reason for the decision, a link to the policy and the status of your appeal, including whether the decision can be appealed. Note the policy it names.
- Redo the audit from the start. Check the name against signage, the address for eligibility, the category, phone, hours and website again. Look for things you may have missed the first time, such as keywords in the name or a website that shows a different address.
- Check the documents you sent. Make sure each document shows the business name and the address exactly as on the profile. Blurry photos, cropped pages or documents in a different name give the reviewer nothing to match.
- Add stronger proof. Combine at least two kinds of evidence, such as a business licence plus a utility bill, and add clear photos of permanent signage. Use only genuine documents issued to the business.
- Prepare for a video request. If asked for verification video, record in one continuous take showing the street or building, the signage, the inside of the premises and tools or stock used in the business.
- Write a short, specific follow-up. List what you changed since the last appeal and what each attached document proves. Avoid repeating the earlier text.
- Request the additional review if it is offered. Check the appeals tool and the Business Profile Help page on suspended profiles for the option to request an additional review of a denied request, attach only new evidence, and keep a record of every date and reference number.
Avoid these after a rejection
- Creating a duplicate profile for the same location.
- Sending the same appeal text and documents again.
- Editing the profile many times while a review is open.
When a done-for-you pack helps
The pack helps after a rejection, when you need an outside check on what is still wrong before you follow up again. For local businesses, we check the listing details and public website you send against the business representation guidelines, diagnose the most likely remaining violation, give an exact fix list, an evidence checklist matched to your business type and notes on a verification video, and draft new appeal text for you to submit yourself.
No subscription and no extra fees. Delivered by email within 24 hours of your order. Covers one business location.

Questions
Can I appeal again after a rejection?
The appeals tool accepts one appeal per decision. After a denial, Google says it may be able to do an additional review, where you can add evidence that was not in the original appeal. Use it only once something has changed: a fix on the profile or website, or better proof. Sending the same material again gives the reviewer nothing new.
Why was my proof not accepted?
Google asks that the name and address on every document match the profile. Proof often fails because the name or address differs from the profile, the image is cropped or unreadable, or the document belongs to a different person or company. A utility bill or licence showing the full business name and the same address as the profile, plus clear signage photos, gives the reviewer the strongest match.
Should I start a new profile after a rejected appeal?
We advise against it. A new profile for the same business at the same location is a duplicate under the guidelines and can lead to further suspensions. Keep working on the existing profile: correct what is still wrong, improve the evidence and ask for the additional review if it is offered.
